Are you a "Technology Company Located In A Connecticut Incubator Facility?"

                                   

Small Business Incubator Grant Program

(SBIP)

 

The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT), in partnership with the State of Connecticut and the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) serves as administrator to the Small Business Incubator Grant Program. The purpose of the program is to provide grant money to help defray the financial burden of maintaining and growing a start-up technology based business.

 

CCAT and the DECD will consider all appropriate applications for funding. Potential uses of this funding include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Business Plan preparation
  • Financial counseling
  • Management counseling
  • Market analysis
  • Marketing
  • Business development
  • Patenting, licensing costs
  • Locating new facilities for companies ready to graduate from incubator status
  • Testing or research to support proof of principle
  • Prototype development
  • Technology counseling

This program is being administered on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to the availability of funding.   

 

Qualified Companies are Eligible for Grants up to
